POSITION TITLE: Catering Buffet Server - $15.00/hr - $18.00/hr based on experience

HOURS: Part-Time, Weekends & Evenings

LOCATION: Varies


POSITION SUMMARY
Energetic, friendly, and social, catering buffet servers love working with people and enjoy interacting with guests. They report to a manager and work with a team of servers to ensure the event runs smoothly. The primary purpose of the catering buffet server is to: 


1. Assist with the delivery of the food and buffet equipment (to the event and back)

2. Assist with food/buffet table prep before the event and replenishment during the event.

3. Assist with post-event clean up, inventory, food storage, and tear down.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Previous banquet, catering or serving experience a plus
  • Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
  • Must have stamina, must be able to stand/walk for several hours at a time
  • Must have reliable transportation; preferably a truck or van.
  • Must have SafeServ Food Handler Certificate

1. Assist with the delivery of the beverages if needed (to the event and back)

2. Assist with Bar prep before the event and replenishment during the event.

3. Assist with post-event clean up, inventory, beverage storage, and tear down.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Previous banquet, catering or serving experience a plus
  • Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
  • Must have stamina, must be able to stand/walk for several hours at a time
  • Must have reliable transportation; preferably a truck or van.
  • Must be TABC Certified
  • Bar Backs must have SafeServ Food Alcohol Permit current
